Vinyl Records Support Cold Aid Projects

Dear flipvinyl customer,

Since the beginning of this year, flipvinyl has been cooperating with betterplace.org to jointly raise donations for cold aid in German cities. This is a pilot project to explore the willingness of record owners in Germany to donate, as we are considering transforming Flipvinyl into a fully nonprofit organization.

You too can donate your sales proceeds and thereby do social good and promote sustainability!

If you decide to donate the proceeds to cold aid projects, flipvinyl will match the amount as an additional donation. Here's what it's about:

A hundred thousand people in Germany are homeless, living on the streets and on the fringes of society.

When temperatures drop below the freezing point, every night spent outdoors becomes life-threatening. People need blankets, sleeping bags, a warm meal, and sometimes just someone to ask how they are doing. Through our donation campaign, you support several nonprofit organizations across Germany that tirelessly provide help during this cold season, for example by

• providing warm underwear and clothing

• offering warm meals and drinks

• operating cold aid buses

• setting up emergency shelters

• providing housing under the #HousingFirst initiative

If you choose to donate, your amount will be credited to the cold aid projects through us, and flipvinyl will donate the same amount again. Both contributions will be documented.

You will be provided with all details during the sales process via email after your records arrive with us!

Of course, you can also decide not to donate your proceeds. In that case, we will transfer the agreed amount to your account as discussed! You will also find all details in the previously mentioned email!
